It’s the World Economic Forum’s alter ego this week, with the “Summer Davos” taking place in Tiajin, China. Expect big names and big ideas: the heads of Airbus, Anglo American and several Chinese banks are attending, and “rethinking” is the buzzword. The US and the eurozone both publish industrial production data, while earnings from FedEx and BlackBerry-maker Research in Motion should throw some light on the global recovery. Russia’s prime minister visits gas-hungry Ukraine, having wooed the country’s leadership in May.  Read more
