The week ahead: Jan 9-13

Will Hungary sustain last week’s recovery,  after the forint had earlier plunged to record lows? Investors will be watching intently for signs of a deal with the IMF and EU. Elsewhere, after China releases inflation data for December on Monday and Brazil reveals retail sales numbers on Thursday, all eyes will be on the final results of Egypt’s parliamentary election on Friday.
