Amid persisting concerns over an EM slowdown, investors and economists will pay special attention to economic data this week: China publishes its trade balance and bank lending, India its industrial production, and Brazil its economic activity index. And the World Bank releases its updated World Economic Outlook.
In politics and diplomacy it’s a big week as well: Egypt holds the second round of its presidential elections, the UN Security Council meets on Syria and Sudan, and the WTO will discuss China’s trade policies.
