Mexico gears up for its much anticipated presidential election this week, and Mongolians go to the ballots as well. In New York, the UN Security Council’s diplomats again discusses Syria, as do the world powers in Geneva.

Important US and EU officials meet with their Indian counterparts, both in India and Brussels; and the Mercosur summit takes place in Argentina. And of course, everyone in Europe will be watching the European Football championship final in Kiev, which is scheduled for Sunday.
