David Cameron, leader of the British Conservative party, last night anticipated a Barack Obama victory in the US Presidential election. “This novice is waiting with interest to see how that novice performs,” he said. He was referring to a dig made by the UK’s prime minister Gordon Brown, when he was speaking about the global financial crisis, that “this is no time for a novice”.
But is Senator Obama really a novice? He doesn’t look or sound like one. He has real world experience as a community organiser. Mr Cameron is a former press officer.
The Conservative leader might be advised not to draw any more attention to his own career experience, or lack of it.
