I know I ought to try and strike a cheery note for the first post of 2010. But, if you haven’t seen it yet, do read Martin Wolf’s sobering analysis from a few days ago.
I have written a column for tomorrow’s paper on the need for more fresh thinking in management. But my colleague makes a bigger and more important point. The risk of complacency setting in among policy makers is great. The worst has been avoided, for now. But this remains a fragile system, and a fragile world.
