China sharply criticized Malaysia for its handling of an investigation into the disappearance of a commercial aircraft with 239 people aboard nine days ago. The criticism came as a Malaysian police source ruled out a connection between the pilot's political affiliations and the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370.

British Airways crew member Gustavo Saporiti, poses on artwork made up of thousands of individual items that are found on a jumbo jet to show the scale of its operation, in an aircraft hangar at London's Heathrow Airport. From toilet rolls to teaspoons, British Airways loads 27,260 individual items on to each jumbo jet before it takes to the skies. With a combined weight of 6,120kg, the items have to be unloaded and re-loaded before every take-off.
