Suspected Taliban militants killed seven police in southern Afghanistan after persuading the officers to invite them into their checkpoint for dinner, officials said. Security in Mogadishu has been tightened following an attack on the country’s Supreme Court by al Shabaab on April 14 and multiple checkpoints have been set up around the city by the Somali Police Force as a result.
