Italian Police prepare to face up to demonstrators in Rome, Italy on Wednesday during a  a demonstration in Rome against the government's Jobs Act labour reform bill. Three protesters were injured in a police charge at the demonstration. The protest organized by the self-styled National Social Strike Laboratory said high school students occupying their schools this week also participated in the march through central Rome, which turned into a melee when protesters tried to break through a police cordon around the Senate building, setting off flares and throwing eggs at law enforcement. The government's Jobs Act labour reform bill now on the floor of the Senate, where the administration of Premier Matteo Renzi looks set to call a confidence vote.
