Some of the inmates at the Tacumbú penitentiary in Asunción, the most overcrowded and violent jail in Paraguay. The country’s minister of justice, Sheila Abed, said on Friday that the prison will not receive any more admissions. It currently contains 4,030 inmates, despite an intended capacity of about 1,500.
