Dinosaur skeleton set for auction...Lindsay Hoadley of Summers Place Auctions in Billingshurst, West Sussex, tends to 17 metre long specimen of a long-necked Diplodocus Longus which will be auctioned next month and according to experts will be the first sale in the UK of a large dinosaur skeleton and is exptected to fetch up to £600,000. Lindsay Hoadley of Summers Place Auctions in Billingshurst, West Sussex, tends to a 17-metre long specimen of a long-necked Diplodocus Longus, which will be auctioned next month and according to experts will be the first sale in the UK of a large dinosaur skeleton. It is expected to fetch up to £600,000. 

The triptych, which has never been seen before in the UK, is being exhibited at Christie s King Street during Frieze Art Week from October 13-18, before being auctioned in New York on November 12.
