Canon Michael Hampel holds a chalice above an embroidered altar frontal at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday in London, England. The frontal, which was made for the cathedral by injured first world war servicemen, is being displayed for the first time in 70 years to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the war.
