Flight test engineers celebrate as the new Airbus A320neo aircraft lands for its first flight from the airport of Toulouse-Blagnac, southern France, 25 September 2014. The roll-out of the first A320neo - according to Airbus - marks another stage in the development of the Airbus aircraft family. The A320neo, which stands for 'new engine option', is a modernized version of the A320 featuring and optimized wingline with so-called 'sharklets' and modified engine hoisting that should bring a 15 percent lesser fuel consumption. Besides the A320neo there a also plans to build the smaller A319 and the bigger A321 as neo-version.
