The Vaxholm Boys' Choir prepare to follow Sara Ringkrans at the start of the procession in the Nave of York Minster as part of the Sankta Lucia Festival. The Sankta Lucia Festival of Light is an atmospheric, candlelit procession and carol service based on the Swedish Lucia celebration, a powerful symbol and celebration of light. This year it is the first time the service has been held at York Minster in partnership with York Anglo Scandinavian Society.
