Beatles finally available on iPhone – sort of

You may not be able to hear the Fab Four on iTunes  and the iPhone, but you will be able to see them with the licensing of their images by The Beatles’ Apple Corps to MusicSkins, announced today .

MusicSkins has won the rights to creating skins for seven album covers, including Sergeant Pepper, Abbey Road, Yellow Submarine and A Hard Day’s Night.

They will appear not only for the iPhone and iPod touch but on other devices – the company showed off a Sergeant Pepper skin for a BlackBerry and a With the Beatles one for a Macbook Pro.

Music obviously helps sing the praises of products. T-Mobile announced on Thursday  a partnership with Eric Clapton to promote a limited-edition Fender version  of its myTouch Android phone, launching on January 20. Check out the ad scheduled to appear on national televisionhere.
