- Hacking group Anonymous has launched a series of attacks against Sony, bringing down several of the company’s sites and the PlayStation Network, PlayStation LifeStyle reports. The attacks were launched in response to Sony’s earlier legal action against a group of PS3 hackers including Geohot.
- Pacific Crest analyst James Faucette has written a sobering assessment of Motorola’s key smartphone and tablet offerings, according to Forbes. Mr Faucette says channel checks find that sell-through trends for both the Xoom tablet and the Atrix smart phone ‘have been disappointing’.
- Engadget has seen a sneak preview of Android’s answer to Amazon’s cloud music service. Android Music 3.0 doesn’t differ in appearance to the existing music player but the settings menu now includes a range of streaming-related options.
- Twitter has revamped its home page with a much closer focus on interests, the Huffington Post says. The new screen seems to be designed to encourage users to select who they follow based on what they’re interested in and includes a prompt to ‘follow your interests’.
