Google has unveiled the first developer application programming interfaces for Google+, the company’s new social network, Mashable reports. The launch is the first step toward developers creating Google+ apps and integrating the social network into existing apps.
Box.net, a document management company, has rejected a $500 million offer to purchase the company, VentureBeat reports. Box.net currently has 6 million users. Some 60,000 businesses employ its cloud-storage software, including 73 percent of Fortune 500 companies.
