I think this technology will be big for the mass market, especially with all of the inexpensive "party" camcorders out there like the Flip camera. No moving parts means less noise, and anything to improve the audio on those devices is great. I just wrote about it on my blog at www.magnusvisuals.com/blog
Sadly only available in the US currently (and therefore only on the iTunes US store); Siri indicate on their website that they do have plans to expand internationally.
