The Inner Life of Numbers

419fwg77gdl_aa240_ I am enjoying "One to Nine: The Inner Life of Numbers". You need some maths to enjoy it, but Andrew Hodges’s bubbling stream of ideas is well worth a dip. (I’ve been dipping in and out for three months now, which may tell you something both about the book’s quality and its limitations - it has a short attention span and suits readers with the same.) Beautifully written, though.
