I spent my lunch break at a CBI round table listening to the group’s ideas for cutting Whitehall spending. Quite a few, unsurprisingly, involved bringing in private companies to offer more innovative processes. (Rather than summarise these ideas I’ll instead give you a link to the CBI’s pre-budget report submission).

Anyway, the comment which struck me most was Hugh Risebrow, former UK head of Interhealth Canada, who is now commercial director at Guys & St Thomas Foundation Trust.  Read more
