All senior politicians are now proclaiming that they are hugely keen to take part in a series of secondary TV debates. My understanding is that the broadcasters are not desperate to do the entire cabinet v shadow cabinet(s) (“I can’t imagine that Lansley vs Burnham would be very thrilling”, says one source). Others could be great fun.
