Tory MP: I’d be demonstrating with the Greek workers

I’m sitting in a lively hustings in Wells. Will be reporting later on this fascinating West country marginal. But can’t resist relaying David Heathcoat-Amory’s take on the Greek riots:

“On that issue I’m on the side of the Greek workers. If I was in Greece I would be out demonstrating.”

It fits with the Tory MP’s hatred of the Euro (he once resigned as a minister over the issue). But I expect expressing solidarity with rioters isn’t how David Cameron would have put it.
