The Ministry of Defence last night put out a list of 40 meetings between Werritty and Fox which include 18 overseas and 22 in London.

Those abroad are:

4-6 June 2010: Singapore: conference attendance . Adam Werritty attended Dialogue.

7-8 June 2010: Abu Dhabi & Dubai: Meeting with goverment representatives. Adam Werritty present in Dubai on personal business. Not present in any official meetings

2-3 July 2010: Tampa, Florida: Meetings at CentCom, Adam Werritty not present. Adam Werritty present at SofS’s informal dinner (3 July) with COMCENTCOM (COMISAF Desig) General Allen in steakhouse

6-8 August: Dubai: SoS weekend leave break en route to Afghanistan. Adam Werritty present as a private individual

2-6 December: Bahrain: MANAMA Dialogue. Visited British and US forces. Adam Werritty present at Dialogue. Adam Werritty not present at official meetings or engagements.

17-22 December: Dubai: Meetings with UAE government and British military. Adam Werritty present in personal/businesses capacity. Adam Werritty not present at official meetings. On completion of official engagements, SofS took 21-22 December as leave, no officials remained to accompany.

16-23 January 2011: Australia and New Zealand: AUKMIN SofS travelled via Hong Kong on route to Ankara, taking a period of leave. Adam Werritty met him in Hong Kong in a private capacity.

6-7 February: Israel: Adam Werritty present at the Herziliya conference. Adam Werritty helped to arrange and attended a dinner with political figures which SofS and HMA Tel Aviv attended.

17-21 Feb: Switzerland: Skiing holiday

30 March to 4 April: Qatar, Dubai, Bahrain: (Qatar, Dubai, Bahrain). Libya coalition and Gulf initative/visit to British Forces: Adam Werritty present in Dubain in a private capacity. SoS introduced in passing to Harvey Boulton.

14-18 April: Abu Dhabi: SofS on leave with his Mrs Fox and Adam Werritty. SoS conducted an informal meeting en passant with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Neither Mrs Fox nor Adam Werritty accompanied him.

22-25 May: Tampa, Washington: Tampa – SofS conducted official meetings. Washington – SofS conducted political meetings and delivered a lecture. Adam Werritty was present at political meetings and accompanied SofS on private flight back to UK on party donor’s aircraft to attend President Obama State Visit.

31 May-1 June: Hong Kong: SofS travelled via Hong Kong to take leave on route to Shangria La dialogue. Met Adam Werritty in Hong Kong.

2-6 June: Singapore – Shangri La Dialogue: Conference Attendance. Adam Werritty present at dialogue. Adam Werritty did not attend any official meetings

17-19 June: Dubai: Brief stop in Dubai on return route from Afghanistan. Adam Werritty in Dubai in a private capacity.

Adam Werritty had a chance meeting with Boulter before SofS arrived, and told. Boulter that SofS will be in Dubai that week. On arrival in Dubai, late evening 16 June, SofS met AW in hotel for drink. Morning of 17 June SofS and Adam Werritty conducted Boulter meeting. Adam Werritty was not present at official engagements conducted.

8-10 July: Sri Lanka: Met with government and opposition figures. SofS delivered Kadagamar Memorial speech. Adam Werritty in audience for the public speech as guest of Mrs Kadagamar. Adam Werritty not present at official meetings, nor at official reception in High Commission.

31 July – 3 August. Washington: Meetings with Pentagon and The Hill. Adam Werritty not present at official meetings, met SofS socially.

5-19 August: Spain: SofS on leave with family and friends – including Adam Werritty. SofS returned to UK 10-12 August for recall of Parliament.
